DC Public Library
The DC Public Library’s Teen Employment Program regularly uses the services of the Financial Literacy Foundation. We’ve been impressed with the thoroughness of their approach. Our teens have come out of the sessions armed and equipped with financial knowledge they can immediately apply to their lives. FLF makes their curriculum accessible, using scenarios and situations the teens actually encounter. Many of our teens now have checking and savings accounts and are budgeting their paychecks, thanks to the programs Michelle and her team have provided us.
