SEED Public Charter School
The SEED Public Charter School launched its partnership with the Financial Literacy Foundation (FLF) in the summer of 2005 when FLF approached us with the idea of offering finance-focused electives for our high school students. Now in its fourth year, our partnership has resulted in SEED students having the unique opportunity to receive intensive financial literacy training during the school day and as part of our after-school activities.
FLF Instructors are deeply committed to SEED students. Each year, FLF instructors meet with parents during Parent-Teacher Conference nights, work with students during tutorial, write college recommendations and help them with any questions they have about their finances. FLF instructors have positioned SEED students to speak on Financial Literacy panels and partake in presentations by the Deputy Director of the Office of Financial Education at the Treasury building.
SEED is grateful for FLF’s commitment to not only improving the financial education of SEED students, but being part of the SEED community.
